Envisioning a private house in Mykonos that draws inspiration from both Scorpios Mykonos and Soho House involves blending the rustic, earthy sophistication of Scorpios with the contemporary comfort that Soho House epitomizes. En Kyanó successfully combines an avant-garde cultural and sustainable concept with a beautiful, rural building and site.

While eliminating the non-essential, the house still provides guests with all the contemporary comforts – less is more, as they say. At the heart of En Kyanó lies the desire to share this singular, fascinating destination with likeminded guests, the Mykonos of found communities and free thinkers, through power of shared experiences, celebrating it’s true essence.

The story of En Kyanó goes back to the origins of Scorpios, an iconic meeting point for Mykonos’ most sophisticated revelers that played a pivotal role in establishing the island as the outstanding destination it is today. Created by Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel, both impresarios hailing from the south of Germany, it was the culmination of their years-long collaboration and journeys that brought them to many places around the world. Scorpios was born out of a vision to create a place where a community of like-minded individuals — creative spirits, lovers of life — could congregate and celebrate, from morning till midnight, in what was then a radical amalgam of all-day conviviality, inspirational gatherings, spirituality and culture.

Following the spirit of Scorpios, the house is built upon the idea of slow, laid-back summer living, and encourages mindful connection with family, friends and the freedom to unwind peacefully in nature. En Kyanó, a safe haven in the midst of raw landscape and pure nature, crystallizing within utopian forms of design; a bespoke Hideaway in the search for personal expansion, hedonistic pleasures, and sophisticated adventures.
